GameTyrant's Top 5 Games Of E3 2018
With E3 2018 over and all final game announcements from the event coming to an end, we wanted to close out this year with a few top choice announcements. While there is more to be shown for every game presented during E3, we were given a lot of exciting news and trailers. After seeing everything at E3 2018, here are GameTyrant's Top 5.
Resident Evil 2 Remake
First on our list with the highest amount of team members voting for it is Capcom's Resident Evil 2 Remake. This beloved survival horror title was shown off in a way that presented way more than just a graphical remaster. Putting more attention to detail than they did the first Resident Evil remake, Resident Evil 2 will have the controls and style of one of the most popular games in the series, Resident Evil 4, and even have the adaptive difficulty feature.
The Resident Evil 2 Remake is the top choice of GameTyrant and looks like a must-have game.
Daemon x Machina
Next up we have the intense mech fighting game announced for the Nintendo Switch, Daemon X Machina by Marvelous Entertainment. Featured with a pretty badass trailer and its hardcore music, we got to see some of the epic action that is going to take place on the open battlefield. Showing a few small mechs fighting much larger mechs is the perfect set up of good triumphing over evil, despite the odds.
Beyond Good and Evil 2
Then we have a game that some on our team stated, "Should be made into a movie." Beyond Good and Evil 2 by Ubisoft is one of the longest awaited sequels to be announced and had a huge positive crowd response after announced. Featuring a cinematic trailer, the story alone is looking to be intriguing and that doesn't even get us started on the gameplay that is sure to be even better than the original PS2 title.
Jump Force
Finally putting an end to the debates of which anime character would come out on top in a fight is Bandai Namco's feature title, Jump Force. Following a similar set up they made for Dragonball Fighterz, players will be able to set up teams of 3 containing their favorite heroes from across the anime spectrum. With Bandai Namco known for their ability to make great anime and fighter games, this was an easy choice to put on our radar.
Call of Cthulhu
Finishing off with an indie game pick, we found ourselves interested mostly in the trailer featured for Call of Cthulhu by Cyanide Studio. A Lovecraft based horror game that is sure to be full of strange events, crazy twists and a dark atmosphere is the core of what horror players could ask for. Raising so many questions and bringing us in with their odd trailer, we can only see the game being as interesting as the trailer and story itself.
And that ends our Top 5 games featured at E3 2018. There were a lot of great options to choose from and many more titles that we are interested in, but these games are the ones that made the best impression.
Do you agree with our top choices? What games do you think deserve to be in the Top 5 games featured at E3 this year?
