Considering Nixxes is porting the title, I have a lot of confidence in the optimization side of things. Horizon Forbidden West runs ridiculously well on a variety of PC configurations, and I expect Ghost of Tsushima to run as well, especially considering it’s a last-generation title.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut PC Features

The following features have been confirmed by Nixxes for the PC version.

  • Full optimization for ultra-wide monitors, with support for 21:9 and 32:9 resolutions

  • 48:9 resolutions and triple monitor set-ups are also supported

  • NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, or Intel XeSS upscaling techniques

  • Extensive controller support, including full support for the PlayStation DualSense controller with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, while using a wired connection

Trophies Support and PlayStation Overlay

This is the first PlayStation release on PC that comes with trophies support as well. This means that you can log in to your PlayStation Network account, and earn trophies while playing the game. The game has a PlayStation overlay which can be accessed from the in-game menu or, for keyboard players, by pressing the “SHIFT +F1” shortcut on your keyboard.

Additionally, players can access their Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and PlayStation profile in the overlay as well. The overlay is entirely optional as it requires a PlayStation account.

This is shaping up to be another fantastic PC release by Nixxes and the trophies bring the PlayStation ecosystem another step closer to the PC platform. We’re assuming this will be integrated into past PlayStation PC releases as well or at the very least become a norm for future ports. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut launches on PC through Steam and Epic Games Store on 16 May 2024.
