From today until July 5th Xbox One owners will be able to play Halo 5 for free. The move was made as part of Xbox's Free to Play promotion but also made to promote the new firefight mode that also launches today for free. As someone who is an idiot and doesn't already own Halo 5 for my Xbox One, this is awesome news for me! I don't know why I haven't gotten it yet as it seems far and away one of the best-supported games on the console.
Anyone else plan on playing between now and the 5th? I'm curious to see what the player population is like.
