HALO INFINITE Delayed And Xbox Series X Confirmed For November Release
Halo Infinite has been delayed into 2021 after ongoing development issues compounded by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The news broke earlier with a Twitter post from the official Halo account. Despite the delay of Halo Infinite, the Xbox Series X is still slated to launch sometime this coming November as confirmed by Aaron Greenburg. Sadly, we still don’t have a specific release date or launch price as Microsoft and Sony continue to dance around each other in the cost department.
I think the delay is for the best personally. Even if I didn’t get upset by the way the game looked like many on the net I want the game to be as polished as it can be before release. With crunch culture being more looked down upon in the industry I am glad that 343 isn’t resorting to it to get the job done in some arbitrary time frame. With what is currently know about Halo Infinite, I think it could be the best entry in the franchise since Halo 3 and seeing the series get the reception and treatment it deserves will be worth the wait!
