HIDDEN DEEP Expands With New Flames And New Threats In It’s Biggest Update
Daedalic Entertainment and Cogwheel Software are bringing you more alien-infested carnage in the deepest crevices of the ocean. Hidden Deep has just received one of its most significant updates to its early access period. If you were hoping for more weapons and gameplay changes, then you're in luck.
The latest update, appropriately titled “Kill It With Fire”, brings a new set of weapons to help you survive the depths. Players can expect new weapons such as a crowbar, pistol, submachine gun, shotgun, and the sought-after flamethrower. The trailer depicts the flamethrower with an awesome range, perfect for those pesky flying alien-rat-bats.
Along with the new weapons, players will be able to experience three new levels and enemies. Acid spitting creeps. scuttlebugs, and transmorphs (which are essentially the game's version of a zombie). But no need to stress! Along with these new challenging additions comes the inclusion of NPCs that are set to help you along your quest.
One important note about this update is that these newly added features are currently only available on the three new levels. Cogwheel has expressed that they are working hard to bring these features to the rest of the game’s levels but for now, we will have to settle for this.
Hidden Deep is currently available in early access on Steam for PC. You can check out our thoughts here.
