One of the most popular trading card games comes from Wizards of the Coast and has over 40 million players across 70 countries. Magic: The Gathering is now expanding to be much more than just a card game as video games featuring the iconic games fantasy universe begin to invade PC’s and consoles worldwide. Making this card game into an MMORPG is the development team Cryptic Studios and their partnered publisher Perfect World Entertainment.

Officially announced during The Game Awards 2019 with a cinematic reveal trailer, we have been presented with the game Magic: Legends. This game is going to allow players to create their own powerful, spell-wielding Planeswalker. There is still a lot to learn about what this game is going to offer, but it has been in the works behind-the-scenes since 2017, so chances are we will have quite the free reign to explore, expand, and fight with once it’s out.
