What’s In The Box

If you buy it pre-assembled, which I recommend, it’s so much easier to just grab and play. The Magtube comes with the foldable gunstock, two magnetic cups for the controllers, an allen wrench key for adjusting the stock, and a sling with one attachment point.

Build Quality and Aesthetics

One thing I noticed right away is that it’s pretty heavy duty. I think I would actually have to try to break this piece of equipment. Everything from the magnetic cups to the strap is all made of really strong material that all feels comfortable in hand.

Not only is it strong, I love the looks of it. I like that it’s not a cheesy fake rifle and that it sits in your arm just right to make your game smooth and enjoyable.

Feedback

The pre-assembled version comes out of the box ready to play, sort of. When I stuck the controllers into the magnetic cups and grabbed the Magtube it was huge. My front hand could barely reach the front controller. Luckily it is adjustable but it just took some time getting it right. If there were some guided markings on it or some clicks into place it would’ve helped save some time. But I do appreciate that it is adjustable to all size needs for the most part.

Verdict

The Magtube is a really sweet accessory for VR gaming. Is it a necessity? No, but there are some games that I could not stand playing because the gunplay was just so off, but the Magtube really helped with that. Not only does it help simplify gunplay, the immersion that it adds is really great.
