Crytek has officially launched update 1.10 for their PvPvE title Hunt: Showdown. This update brings a brand-new Questline system, a new "Stalker Beetle" consumable, new Weapon Charms and the much sought-after Billy Story. Also, for a limited time, players can unlock Questlines and exclusive rewards through a Twitch Drops campaign, running now through October 20.
The Stalker Beetle is a strategic sandbox tool that can be used in many ways, such as to peak behind walls, to scout ahead before entering compounds, and much more. Certain active traits will also apply their effects to the Stalker Beetle, which will provide players with tons of new tactical options.
Various Questlines will be offered periodically throughout the year, allowing players to earn exclusive in-game rewards by completing different objectives. The first Questline, “Billy & the Stalker Beetle,” will be available via Twitch Drops where users can watch qualifying Hunt Twitch streams for 60 minutes, which in turn unlocks the Questline token.
While Hunt: Showdown seems to be offering a lot with their Twitch Drops, it also means there is a chance for some to miss out on these opportunities. Make sure your platform is connected to your Twitch account and go unlock that reward before times up! Update 1.10 is active now for all platforms - PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
