Learn Everything About LIFTOFF DRONE RACING In Its Latest Overview Video

Astragon has recently released an overview video for their drone racing simulator, Liftoff Drone Racing. The video gives a lot of details about the game as well as bringing some of its past videos back into the fray to bring players up to speed. It looks like there’s been a ton of work that’s gone into Liftoff Drone Racing to make it a believable and realistic simulation that’s true to its real-life counterpart. It’s said that the game has a steep learning curve due to the realistic way it was created. Pulling maneuvers isn’t as simple as just moving one thumbstick, thus making it a learning experience. Luckily, the devs have implemented a newbie setting called Assisted Flight which can be customized to bring away the training wheels slowly over time.

The game also features an in-depth campaign as well as a freestyle mode. The campaign starts in the year 2015 with the growing popularity of the sport and continues through the years following, finally leading to the FPV Championship in 2019. Freestyle mode lets players fly their drones in a playground type of setting, giving them a chance to master their trick skills. Liftoff also features a very meticulous drone building workbench that allows you to completely create a build of your own from scratch or just use blueprints already put together to get you started.

Players can expect 12 different levels within the game to fly around in with both a day and night variant for each one. What I’m most excited to see is the online multiplayer. It’s actually up to 6 people per race and friends can be invited too. This game looks really fun and I’d like to see how it feels to control one of these things in-game. Liftoff Drone Racing releases this November 10th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
