From the creators of the Dungeon Craft books and more Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) related things, 1985 Games brings an entirely D&D experience. Taking heavy inspiration from Studio Ghibli and The Legend of Zelda, they have launched a kickstarter for Obojima Tales From The Tall Grass. The kickstarter has been very successfull so far reaching over 2 million dollars at a backer goal of $10,000, with just over 48 hours left they have already reached almost 18,000 different backers.

In Obojima you will find pages and pages of rich lore, detailed maps, pre-generated characters, strange factions, unique locations, and more! All with some very familiar feeling art to draw you in. A large part of the system in Obojima is the potion crafting, you can hunt for 100’s of ingredients that are spread across the island to craft one of the 180 plus potions!

Because of their very successful kickstarter they have already reached all of their stretch goals. At 2 million they are allowing the community to build a custom sub-class. 1.8 million reached a community created potion, and a dice upgrade set at 1.6 million. With book upgrades, posters, playmats, and more there is plenty for you to look forward to if you still want to back it for the tier rewards.
