List: Indie Games Launching In February That Are Worth Checking Out
With the game industry constantly getting games every month, it's only a matter of time before it becomes an indie-stry. February is bringing out quite a few great games, both AAA and indie, that are worth checking out. We all know, and are likely anticipating, the Shadow of Colossus Remake that will be coming to the PS4 this on February 6th, but what else have you heard of lately?
I have put together a list of some great titles that are worth checking out that you may not of heard of just yet. My top choices are at the bottom of the list, but the full list of titles that will be available (on various platforms) are:
- Eco on Steam - Feb 6
- Darkside Detective on the Nintendo Switch - Feb 7
- Attack of the Earthlings on Steam - Feb 8

Top Choices
1) Past Cure by Phantom 8 Studio
Past Cure is a dark psychological thriller that will make you question what is real and what is being made up in your mind. This action packed, stealth title will be full of natural and supernatural abilities to conquer foes. The story-driven title will leave you wanting to know more and uncover the truth as to what is really going on. Will you be able to help Ian seek out his revenge on the underground criminals that left you scarred with unrelenting nightmares, visions and unstable powers such as time manipulation and telekinesis?
2) Darkside Detective by Spooky Doorway
Darkside Detective is a point-and-click puzzle/adventure comedy game that will have you investigate multiple paranormal situations. Detective McQueen and his quirky partner, Officer Dooley, will be sent to multiple different locations in response to a variety of different calls. Originally launched on steam, which was given a rather positive review, this title is finally making its way on to console via the Nintendo Switch.
3) Eco by Strange Loop Games
Eco is a simulated ecosystem with thousands of growing plants and animals living their lives. It looks like an upgraded form of Minecraft, both graphically and gameplay wise, but with a real threat that doesn't include the supernatural. An imminent meteor strike threatens global destruction. Can you save the world without destroying it in the process?
