LOST WORDS: BEYOND THE PAGE Is Coming To More Gaming Platforms

Last year’s Stadia released game, Lost Words: Beyond the Page is coming to PC and consoles on April 6th! The game has won a bunch of awards since its 2020 Stadia release, from ‘Best Indie Game’ at Game Connection Paris, ‘Excellence in Narrative’ at DevGAMM, ‘Best Story’ at Game Connection USA, and a number of others. Its writer Rhianna Pratchett may sound familiar to you as she wrote Mirror’s Edge, Tomb Raider (2013), and Rise of the Tomb Raider so you know its story has got to be good. I love her previous work so I can’t wait to see what Lost Words has in store.

It’s a unique platformer that’ll have you solving puzzles with its protagonist, Izzy’s words. The story itself revolves around Izzy, a young girl who puts herself quite literally into her writing work to cope with all of the hardships around her. She’s lost a close loved one and uses her written words to overcome the grief she feels. It’s a universal story that I feel that a lot of people could connect with. Especially in the times we live in now, a lot of us are feeling isolated and unsure of what to do.

Lost Words: Beyond the Page Launching on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 6th.
