NetEase Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s upcoming mobile game, The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War, will officially launch tomorrow! Beginning September 23rd, the game will be available to download in Europe, the Americas, Oceania, and Southeast Asia on the App Store, Google Play Store and Galaxy Store.

The game is a Geo-strategic Seasonal Wargame where players build armies and strategically expand their territory in pursuit of the One Ring. Players will also be able to encounter key characters from the books such as Aragorn, Gandalf, Frodo, among others. Players will explore and utilize resources and special buff items that will buff their armies and provide strategic advantages in battles.

Depending on whether players choose good or evil, they’ll form Fellowships or Warbands with other players and socialize, plot, and battle alongside one another. The game promises to be rife with strategic options and gameplay.
