MONSTER HUNTER STORIES 2 Demo Available Now On Nintendo Switch
Capcom has released a free demo for its upcoming Nintendo Switch game, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin (MHS2). The demo is available now on the Nintendo eShop and allows players to experience the beginning of the game’s story. The demo will allow save transfer to the main game, keeping any progress players make in the demo should they decide to buy the full game. Although MSH2 will feature cooperative multiplayer gameplay, this feature isn’t available as part of the demo.
MSH2 is a spinoff set in the Monster Hunter universe. In this game rather than hunt monsters, you befriend and bond with them to use in battle against your enemies. MSH2 features more traditional RPG systems relative to the mainline series and a more robust story. Strange happenings around the world and the arrival of a mysterious stranger bearing a rare egg prompt your character to set out on a journey to find answers.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 will launch on July 9, 2021 for $59.99 for both Nintendo Switch and Steam, with the demo available today on Nintendo Switch. The demo will become available to Steam users on release day. There is a Deluxe Edition for $69.99 that comes with additional downloadable items as well as a pack of three amiibo figures for the Nintendo Switch that unlock exclusive cosmetics in the game.
