More Leaders Are Out On The CIVILIZATION IV: LEADER PASS
Developer Firaxis Games’ final update for The Leader Pass DLC on Civilization VI came out in November, however part of the DLC is a slow release of 6 different mini DLCs over time until March. As part of that, the Great Commander DLC has just been released for anyone who has purchased the Leader Pass. Also, the Leader Pass will be free for existing owners of the Civilization VI Anthology Edition on Steam, for anyone unaware.
The newest addition of leader options is called the Rulers of the Sahara and features Ramses of Egypt, Ptolemaic Cleopatra also Egypt, and King Sundiata Keita of Mali. Ramses new ability is Abu Simbel; he can gain Culture equal to 15% of the construction cost when finishing Buildings and 30% when completing Wonders. Ptolemaic Cleopatra’s new ability is Arrival of Hapi; her resources along floodplains receive +1 food and +1 culture. She also receives a +1 appeal on floodplains instead of standard -1. King Sundiata’s new ability is Sogolon; for him, it costs 20% less gold to Recruit Great People and the Market gains 2 Great Writing slots. Great Works of Writing also receive +4 Gold and +2 Production.
Civilization VI is staying more interesting with all the new leaders that are released and some of the variable bonuses have been pretty awesome. At this point, the thing all of us fans of Civilization VI really dream of is a working game in addition to more playable leaders. Nevertheless, Civilization VI is still an incredibly entertaining game.
Civilization VI is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Android, Xbox One, and PC via Microsoft Windows, iOS, Linux, or Mac operating systems.
