Namco Composer, Nobuyuki Ohnogi Passes Away
Nobuyuki Ohnogi, a sound designer and video game music composer best known for his work on Namco games passed away on November 11th, 2019. He was 63 years old.
Ohnogi worked for Namco from 1981 to 1994. His contributions to the craft of arcade gaming include composing the jingles and music for New Rally X, King & Balloon, Galaga, Mappy and many others. He also composed the music for certain home ports of Namco games (Such as Xevious on the Famicom) and created his own soundfont for use in Namco games.
Ohnogi retried from the game industry after he left Namco in 1994.
