Xbox’s Winter Games Fest always has a plethora of great games to try out and this year is no different! At this year’s though, players can test out Skystone Games and Coffeenauts’ frantic space travel title, Spacelines from the Far Out.

A demo is available during the Winter Fest from Dec 7 thru Dec 21 and allows players to get a taste of the crazy and silly fun that they can expect in the full game. Spacelines takes the sci-fi themes of the 60s and tosses them into a 4-player party game that adds elements from the tycoon genre and even rogue-lites!

It’s definitely a title that really delves into its fun factor, and I can’t wait to check it out when it releases. It has the same vibes as an Overcooked game but with other layers that make gameplay even more complex.

The game has a lot of character and really uses its setting to its fullest with many gags and jokes that play a big part in the gameplay like dance-offs, dealing with gravity loss, vomit puddles, and the dreaded Health Inspector. I’m excited to see how the different voids of space look compared to each other too as the ships are already looking really interesting, to say the least.
