OMEGA STRIKERS Got Its First Major Update!
Odyssey Interactive released the first major content update for Omega Strikers! Adding new Strikers, a new map, cosmetics, and more! There are two new Strikers on the roster bringing the total number up to 17 Strikers! Along with the two new Strikers, Striker Asher got a rework as well!
Asher's rework is a rebalance in an attempt to give her a tank-like playstyle. They made her core control abilities less oppressive by removing her passive shield barrier and moving that to the duration of her primary ability cast only instead of all of them. To improve her tank-like abilities her secondary ability has received a defensive buff.
The two strikers that have been added are Vyce and Octavia. Vyce being an effective long-range Striker who utilizes an electric guitar to deal loads of damage and warp across the arena. Having lots of electric themed abilities she can drop lightning bolts on opponents to stun them, chain lightning attacks, and release a massive shockwave knocking back enemies. Ocatvia is a speedy but not very durable Striker who excels in core controlling and evading her enemies attacks. Her entire build is based on Flow State so she will have a scaling speed boost that will refresh any time she hits something.
Besides the characters and cosmetics being added there is a new map as well! The map is called Demon Dais, it's a music based stage that offers a completely unique barrier set up with two concentric circles that you have to break through. Once you break through the outer barriers, the speakers on the outer edges of the map will start pumping out sonic waves that will push Strikers and the core away from them!
The Omega Strikers update is available now and the full title is available free for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and for mobile via Apple App Store and Google Play.
