Pokemon Hypes Up Trainers With Their Reveals At Latest Nintendo Direct
During the recent Nintendo Direct, Pokemon had a moment to showcase their announcement and they definitely didn’t disappoint. The Pokemon Company officially announced a surprise sequel for a beloved spin-off and directly titled it Detective Pikachu Returns! The game features Detective Pikachu and his human partner Tim Goodman solving mysteries in Ryme City with the help of many other Pokemon.
Detective Pikachu Returns is planned to launch on October 6, 2023, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo wasn’t done with Pokemon just yet though. They also revealed more details about The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, introducing new settings and characters, including:
Picturesque Mossui Town: In The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask, Trainers will explore Mossui Town in Kitakami, where there is a community center and shop, as well as beautiful countryside views of fields and rice paddies.
The Terarium Dome’s Four Biomes: In The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk, players will visit a facility known as the Terarium Dome that contains four unique biomes, each home to different kinds of Pokémon.
New Characters: Trainers will also meet many new people, including Cyrano, the founder and director of Blueberry Academy, and Lacey, a helpful second-year Blueberry Academy student known for her impressive Pokémon battling skills.
Discover Different Pokémon: Players can encounter different Pokémon depending on which game the downloadable content is for. In Pokémon Scarlet, they can find Gligar, while Pokémon Violet players can encounter Aipom.
