Someone has posted a screenshot from the settings page of the PS5 Pro to show that the new Sony console is capable of improving even previous generation titles, but to what capacity and the details that follow it are still a mystery.

Posted by a user on ResetEra gaming forums, the screenshot shows the PS5 Pro settings page for what appears to be the rumored PS5 Pro Game Boost that was touched upon in the announcement blog post for the console.

Specifically, this line:

“This feature may stabilize or improve the performance of supported PS4 and PS5 games. Enhanced Image Quality for PS4 games is also available to improve the resolution on select PS4 games.”

While we still don’t know if there is a real difference and what games are supported, this is something creators like Digital Foundry will definitely investigate and share if its worth it.
