Gamers looking for a modern Doomlike that looks and feels like the original ‘90s classics will be happy to hear about Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun!. Announced at Games Workshop’s Skulls Showcase, this title comes from Auroch Digital and Focus Entertainment.

In Boltgun!, you play as a Space Marine with a pension for war. His mission, journey the galaxy fighting off Chaos Space Marines and daemons of Chaos. It’s the latest FPS title in the beloved Warhammer 40,000 series and pays homage to retro FPS titles. The dev team has effectively given the game that nostalgic feel with sprites, pixels, and of course, the bombastic action those titles are known for.
