RUNE II Boasts Some Flawed Fun in New Time to Party Trailer

Party On

RUNE II has been quite an interested title to hack and slash our way through the last several weeks as we have struggled to give a final score as several patches and improvements have been released for the new title available now on the Epic Games Store — On one hand, the game lacks the polish of most titles we see these days and feels like a whole bunch of fantastic ideas between combat, crafting, story driven drama and exploration crammed together in a not-so-neat package. Feels kinda like how I wrap my Christmas gifts: Functional, but not so pretty to behold.

I’m definitely not saying there are not several gorgeous moments we’ve encountered but just don’t expect a spit shine. All that being said, there is a ton of fun to had in Rune II if you can look past its flaws. From crafting weapons and armor, to bashing baddies to explore the isles and nooks of the detailed environment, there’s always something to keep you entertained. Especially whether you want to play solo or better yet, with a couple of buddies, there is a ton of personality and love that has been put into the game by Human Head and at least deserves a look. If anything, this a great title for some much needed, head-bashing co-op goodness.

Check out the Time To Party trailer below and stay tuned for more coverage on this unique title in the coming days!
