RUNESCAPE Developement Update And Necromancy Reveal Date
Publisher and Developer Jagex has revealed a roadmap for the latest development updates and some sneak peeks at the new ability in their hugely popular RPG RuneScape. The title has been around for what really seems like forever and somehow someway they never seem to be short on content for the many players who still play. They are making touches to plenty like adding content for already available skills that might not have the same amount of love as others, a new skill experience for players who are still looking for their favorite playstyle, and some other in-game improvements. On top of that, they have also made a clear statement that they care what their community thinks, which is a rarity nowadays.
The first thing Jagex revealed was Necromancy being added as a new skill. On May 30th they will be debuting the skill on YouTube! In the first look video, they will unveil some of the core pillars for the Necromancy Skill along with some first-ever gameplay. Then the next day May 31st, you can join a panel of developers on Twitch where they will be able to chat about what has been shown and answer any questions from the reveal.
Also announced were some big things being added to Fort Forinthry. Two things are being added with the first being added in June. Woodcutters' Grove will finally bring some love to the Woodcutting skill as you venture back to Fort Forinthry to establish a new Woodcutting training area and upgrade your Fort with a new Woodcutting bonus. A brand new T80 Hatchet will also be obtainable during this part of the update. Get ready for another new quest and even more fort upgrades with Dead and Buried! Dead and Buried will bring more quests and storyline revelations to players. While Fort Fornithry's Content Season will come to a close after these two content updates, you have nothing to worry about as Fort Forinthry has plenty of stories still left untold.
As was previously stated Jagex is taking community involvement seriously. Their first way of showing that they hear you is by increasing the Max Cash limit. They know that this is a hot topic and many people request this so they are integrating a change to enable Max Cash to go above the current 2.14b! Players can expect to see this change come sometime in May. Other steps they've taken to show they are listening is they are working on balancing FSOA and Animate Dead. On May 4th they will release Beta Worlds where players can test their revised changes to FSOA and Animate Dead. Also, they added a community Hitlist where players can suggest the biggest fixes, tweaks, and changes they would like to see in RuneScape. Lastly, they also have decided to trim some of the completion Cape requirements following an in-game poll that decided the potential changes.
