It’s not every day that a virtual reality (VR) game gets a third installment. So it was a big moment when Schell Games announced their next title, I Expect You To Die 3: Cog in the Machine. The game is a VR experience that unlocks the inner need to be a spy solving puzzles and trying not to blow up, breathe in poison gas, or get electrocuted along the way.

Players will utilize gadgets, solve complex puzzles, battle robots, travel to exciting locales, and use telekinetic abilities all to thwart Dr. Zor’s plans. There will be other characters to encounter along the way such as Dr. Prism, her sidekick Robutler, and a plethora of dangerous robot agents trying to stop the player from saving the world and putting an end to world domination!

The franchise’s signature gameplay style of puzzle solving is still present but with a bonus of storytelling enhancement. Dr. Prism is a character that players get to know and connect with over the course of engaging environments and thought-provoking puzzles. People who buy the game will also get to customize their player character, and thanks to high-octane movement, will experience proper immersive motion like never before!
