Sean Murray Says He Was "Naive" To Think NO MAN'S SKY DLC Could Be Free

It was once stated by Hello Games head Sean Murray that No Man's Sky would have free DLC to help continually expand the game's content. Gamespot reports that he's now backpedaling on that statement.

"Maybe in the future there's some reason why we just couldn't possibly afford to do a certain feature without charging for it,"

Prior to the games release, Murray addressed the complaints players have had with their experience but said that the game may one day become what they want...

"If you hoped for things like pvp multiplayer or city building, piloting freighters, or building civilizations… that isn't what NMS is...Over time it might become some of those things through updates."

I'm not trying to raise pitchforks here, but it seems more and more apparent Hello Games was more or less in the business of telling people what they wanted to hear before the games launch and a bit negligent in looking into what they could realistically promise. We still have yet to hear as to why the two players couldn't see each other, and PC players are still waiting for an optimal experience to play the game. Shouldn't we be talking about that?
