PlayStation Announced during its State of Play stream that Airship Syndicate and Digital Extremes are bringing their new ARPG Wayfinder beta exclusively to PlayStation on February 28th! Players can sign up here and try out the highly anticipated multiplayer for themselves. Players on both PS4 and PS5 will be able to access this exclusive beta on Tuesday.

Wayfinder finally revealed some gameplay, showing a third-person perspective and very action-oriented gameplay mechanics. The new gameplay trailer shows off its fantastical world and the various characters each player can choose from. The characters all have different playstyles ranging from close-quarters melee to ranged gun classes. Both of which feature over-the-shoulder viewpoints when in combat. The game is also very much a looter as is most multiplayer RPGs. Players can take on a multitude of missions and take on bosses to reap rewards.

Wayfinder seems to be on the right track for action co-op RPGs. We will be able to provide more details about the game once the beta launches on February 28th.

Wayfinder is set to launch in early access in May 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and EGS.
