Sign Up To Test DRAGONBALL: THE BREAKERS Before Its Release In October
The asymmetrical 7v1 game from Bandai Namco, developed by Dimps, that was announced last year has not only revealed its official release date, but they are inviting players to sign up for a Closed Network Test (CNT) before release! Taking this gameplay style out of the horror genre and bringing it to an anime theme is DragonBall: The Breakers and is set to release this coming October.
The Closed Network Test will be held on all platforms on August 5-6, so be sure to sign-up today. The official times for each session are as follows:
Session 1: Aug. 5 - 7:00 p.m. PT – 11:00 p.m. PT
Session 2: Aug. 6 – 5:00 a.m. PT – 9:00 a.m. PT
Session 3: Aug. 6 – 11:00 a.m. PT – 3:00 p.m. PT
Session 4: Aug. 6 – 7:00 p.m. PT – 11:00 p.m. PT
Don’t worry if you don’t get picked to participate in this CNT though. There will be an Open Beta Test organized at a later date, so you can simply check back with GameTyrant to get information on that when it is available.
Whether you are already sold on this game or gain interest after the CNT, they have opened physical pre-orders as well. Those who pre-order DragonBall: The Breakers can choose between:
Special Edition: This includes the full game, a Customizable Costume, a Dragon (Yellow) Vehicle Skin, a Two-Handed Good Victory Pose, an Android 18 (Skill: Wall Kick) Transphere, and a Scouter (Blue) Accessory.
Limited Edition Bundle (Exclusive to the Bandai Namco Store): This includes the full game, all Special Edition-exclusive content, an Android 18 (Skill: Wall Kick) Transphere, a Scouter (Blue) Accessory, a themed Steelbook, an exclusive Cell Shell figure, and the Potara (Green) Accessory which is a timed-exclusive Bandai Namco Store bonus.
They plan to open digital pre-orders in the future, but they have already shared that those who pre-order the standard edition of the game will also get an Android 18 (Skill: Wall Kick) Transphere and a Scouter (Blue) Accessory. More details on digital pre-orders will come in the future.
DragonBall: The Breakers will officially release on October 14th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. It all takes place in the DragonBall Xenoverse universe where this 8-player multiplayer game pits seven Survivors against a powerful Raider. We can’t wait to learn even more about this game as it gets closer to its release date, but for now we can check out how Frieza is as a Raider with their latest trailer!
