Something Cool: TEKKEN 8 Collector's Editon, This Will Take Center Stage On My Collectible Shelf

Tekken 8 Collector’s Edition was graciously provided by Bandai Namco

As you may have noticed by now, I am a huge fighting game fan. Tekken 8 was such a huge entry into the ecosystem of fighting games because Tekken 7 came out so long ago. Among the top three big names in the fighting game scene, T8 has rightfully claimed its spot.

What I love about fighting games is their attention to character design, which often surpasses that of other genres. Unlike FPS games where you might not focus on the characters, fighting games take pride in their main characters. T8’s main character Jin Kazama frontlines the collector’s edition of Tekken 8.

If you're a Tekken or fighting game enthusiast, you definitely don't want to miss out on the Collector’s edition. Personally, I like collecting steelbooks, and I have to say, this one is easily one of my all-time favorites. The main theme of T8, with Jin Kazama and Kazuya Mishima going head to head, is clearly portrayed in the awesome cover art on the steelbook. It's a must-have for any fan!

The Collector’s edition goes beyond just the impressive steelbook – even the smaller collectibles, which many might overlook, are exceptionally well-crafted. In addition to the steelbook, you'll find T8 trading cards, an exclusive arcade token, Leroy Smith's iconic ring, and the pièce de résistance – an epic 25 cm tall, light-up Jin Kazama statue! It's a treasure trove of goodies that truly adds to the excitement of this edition.

Kazama is one bad ass main character, you really can’t help but enjoy playing as him in the story mode. The statue just embodies Kazama fully, the one wing that hangs way out is my favorite part. Everybody knows Devil Jin and T8 has Kazama fighting his inner demons the whole time “weakening him” as he tries to figure out how to control it. The one devil wing and the symbols on his face, it’s such a cool statue and I can’t wait to find this figure a home on my shelves.
