Sound Off! This Weekend in 4K GAMING
Introduction - Sound Off!
Every weekend, we'll be featuring what the crew here is playing and some mighty fine 4K screenshots to go along with a brief description of the game. If you prefer just to click on the purty pictures, please, be our guest. Either way, we want you to Sound Off! in the comments below about what games you'll be tinkering with this weekend.
Hitman Pro Beta
Oh Agent 47. You and that bald melon of yours were due for a prequel or character tale of sorts and now, we've got a short tutorial style beta to sink our teeth into. If you are waiting to get your piano wires around some fragile necks, you are in luck, along with some awesome challenges like using rat poison, explosives, and more -- w00t!
Dying Light: The Following
KERRRR-SPLAT! Yeah, that's the comic book style sound of zombies splat against your buggy in the awesome expansion for Dying Light called The Following. If you missed this full fledged chunk o' content, you owe it to yourself to get on board ASAP. New areas, with buggy mayhem plus new characters? Daddy likey.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
We can't get enough of Lara Croft's latest adventure on PC. Look. At. Those. Graphics! Absolutely unreal and luckily, it's not just eye candy. It's an extremely meaty adventure and fantastic story line to go with it. And yes, actually tombs are back!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
That's right. We are STILL finding content in this massive game and that's not just filler fetch quests, instead, it's amazing stuff even on side quests you could easily pass up. Not to mention, the graphics and atmosphere.. absolutely fantastic! This game, even though released last May, is still blowing us away.
Now, it's your turn. What are you peeps playing over the next few days? Sound Off!
Black Desert Online
Yep, I'm a sucker for amazing graphics. What I'm not a sucker for are games that lock FPS with no control over it, enable motion blur (devs, STOP using motion blur. It's ugly and stupid.) without being able to disable it and having to resort to troubleshooting just to get the game to run decent. Don't get me wrong, this game has a ton of potential and the art is just unreal but I need to see the final version before we get too excited.
