Splinter Cell Remake Update Shared By Reliable Leaker
The Splinter Cell remake at Ubisoft was announced back in 2021 and ever since then we have heard nothing but radio silence from the publisher with no updates on the project since then. However, Insider-Gaming has shared updates regarding the project, albeit nothing major, about the game and when we can expect it.
Keep in mind, while Tom Henderson is a reputable industry insider, we still recommend taking this rumor with a grain of salt.
According to his report, there are 3 major developments:
The game is being built on the Snowdrop engine which has been used by a lot of Ubisoft projects with the most recent one being Star Wars Outlaws
The game has a codename of North.
Release date could come in 2026.
This could still mean that the long-awaited return of Sam Fisher is still many years away, and as long as we get a good game, I am sure fans will be happy to wait.
