Stranger Things Meets Zelda In MAYHEM IN SINGLE VALLEY Arriving Later This Year
Developer Fluxscopic and publisher tinyBuild have announced their top-down action-adventure game, Mayhem in Single Valley. Scheduled to release on PC sometime in late 2020, Mayhem in Single Valley mixes a large Zelda-like world with the supernatural retro feel from Stranger Things, and puts it into a beautifully rendered pixel-art action-adventure.
Check out the announcement trailer above.
Some key features of Mayhem in Single Valley include:
Physics-based puzzles.
Beautiful pixel art.
A wide variety of environments.
Enemies and NPCs motivations and fears that you can use to your advantage.
You decide what plays in the portable cassette player based soundtrack.
The game follows the story of local boy Jack, who was on his way to start a new life in the big city when disaster struck. A radioactive spill finds its way into the river, contaminating the environment and making his somber hometown the center of the apocalypse. Mayhem in Single Valley’s story unfolds throughout many unique locations with plenty puzzles and enemies to face.
Mayhem in Single Valley comes to PC through Steam in late 2020. If you're attending PAX East this year, the game will be playable at the tinyBuild booth.
