SUICIDE SQUAD: KILL THE JUSTICE Starts Out Weak, Then Picks Up Steam
With so much questionable buzz before and during the early access period, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been fighting an uphill battle, to say the least. After firing up the PS5 version, it didn’t seem to be getting much better for the beleaguered four. After an incredibly tedious, confusing, and long tutorial intro, I was just about to give up on the League. Game devs: PLEASE stop making clunky, disjointed, and beating us over the head with the stupid bat via tutorials at the beginning of modern games. After making it through that though, well, let’s just say I’m incredibly glad I stuck with it!
While we aren’t quite ready to post our full review and final score, let’s just say that the game gets better and better as you move past the first section. It’s almost like the tutorial doesn’t even belong in the game. In fact, between the gorgeous graphics, incredible voice acting, and production values, I’m starting to get hooked on the story as well. The action starts to flow and after the disjointed intro, it’s starting to come together into something magical. We are not the only ones as the game is currently sitting at Very Positive reviews the Steam store page.
For such a weak start, Squad sure is picking up steam as the game goes along. Stay tuned for our full review soon.
