Surreal Puzzle Game DARQ Comes To Next-Gen Platforms This Month
With so many players already showing love for the initial release title from Unfold Games, it really is no wonder that their partnership with Feardemic instantly led to Darq getting released on all platforms. First launched on PC via Steam in 2019, then brought to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2020, and now we will see its release on Nintendo Switch this week on March 18th and both next-gen platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, on March 25th. All platforms include the two DLC titles, The Tower and The Crypt, at no extra charge as well.
It’s hard to believe that this game and its DLC’s were mainly created by a solo developer. On top of that, he isn’t even done with the world of Darq as it has led him to publish his own Gamedev book and now there is the upcoming comic book to fill in some of the lore. Seeing how this was another one of those quiet puzzle games where the details are all you have for lore pieces, I am looking forward to seeing what the comic book will be able to tell us about this mysterious world. Until then, you can check out the short next-gen release date trailer above and enjoy your eventual playthrough of Darq on any platform of your choice.
