There And Back Again

Receiving a review code for ELDEN RING Shadow of the Erdtree was almost as thrilling and exciting as emerging from your first cave inside the much anticipated expansion of one of the best, 25 million copy selling games ELDEN RING. While technically this is just a piece of DLC for the base game, it’s so much more than that. It’s a massive new area with new incredibly difficult enemies, weapons, armor, and a massive new land to explore. To say it’s chock full of content and more than worth the price of admission so far would be a gross understatement.

Since we just recently received our we copy, we haven’t had time to full explore and beat every boss in order to score the expansion so much but we can comfortably say this: If you loved ELDEN RING, you are going to adore Shadow of the Erdtree. There is so much awe and wonder around every corner and from beautiful to terrifying, you will experience it all. Remember, you must have beat Radahn and Mohg to enter the DLC otherwise, you will only get some inventory improving and recent items tabs types of QOL improvements.
