The Live-Action HALO TV Series Is Official And The Full Cast Has Been Revealed
One of the most popular game series to ever exist, Halo by Bungie and now currently 343 Industries, is getting its own TV series. Showtime has already started filming the series in Budapest and is said to feature all of our major characters along with some surprising characters that fans will recognize from the game series. As for the announced cast, we have: Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Natasha McElhone as Cortana and Dr. Halsey, Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, and the remaining Spartan roles will be played by Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac, and Kate Kennedy.
Showtime has neither confirmed nor denied that we may be seeing Master Chief remove his helmet. Something worth looking forward to is that they are working directly with 343 Industries on this live TV series and it will feature “new drama” while staying true to the lore of the Halo series. Not to mention that the show will also introduce us to a new character or few as well. It is set to release sometime in 2021, but you can see some of the footage in this summary wrap up below from the YouTube channel HN Entertainment - where I originally learned of this amazing update.
Its crazy to see this definitive news come out for the Halo TV series while the Halo Outpost Discovery convention is still traveling throughout the United States. It seems this series is fueling the fire that keeps the passion burning for Halo fans everywhere! Are you excited to see an official, canon live-action Halo TV series?
