THE WITCHER Gets Its Own Postage Stamp

The Witcher is easily one of Poland's primary exports right up there with vodka and fine pork products. In fact, the franchise has become an object of such national pride that back in 2011 Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, gifted U.S. President, Barack Obama, a copy of The Witcher 2 which was explained to signify the epitome of Poland's place in the new global economy.

It comes as no surprise then that to commemorate The Witcher's success Poczta Polska, Poland's largest postal operator, has decided to release a limited run of Witcher postage stamps and stationary.

The news comes from the game's lead designer, Damien Monnier,  via Twitter and as noted by him the stamp will feature the likeness of Geralt of Rivia as portrayed in CD Projekt Red's Witcher games.
