The YAKUZA Team Is Already Working On A New Game

It has just been a few days since Sega released the sixth installment in the Yakuza franchise. However, the dev team is not taking a break and is already working on a new unannounced title.

In an interview published in Famitsu’s weekly publication, Sega boss Haruki Satomi shared some information that the Yakuza team have already begun development for an all-new game. Satomi did not reveal any details on the new title the developers of Yakuza are working on, but it is clear that the game will be brand new, and will not be related to the Yakuza franchise. Furthermore, Satomi revealed that Sega is hoping to “challenge new IPs on all platforms” in the future.

The Yakuza franchise has been consistent in giving fans a unique experience in their games with fun gameplay, immersive storytelling, and even unforgettable music. Hopefully, the new upcoming title will also embody the features of previous games and bring players an even better experience than before.

Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is now available worldwide on the PlayStation 4 and is currently priced at $59.99.
