This Jigglypuff Inspired Controller is the Stuff of Nightmares
The Nintendo Gamecube was one of my favorite consoles ever. It had a plethora of amazing games, such as Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash, and a lot more. The controller itself is so popular that when Super Smash Bros. 4 came out, Nintendo re-released the controller with a variety of colors as well as an adapter so players could use it with the Wii U. There have even been custom controllers made by third parties. However, the controller below is an atrocity.
This is a custom controller made by SmashproofGC and Design_OOS using some art by Samstrojny. At first glance, I thought, “Oh, that looks kinda cool.” Then I took a closer look. The Jigglypuff hair curl and ears are a nice touch, but then things get creepy. The giant A button is one eye and the second eye is the B button instead of the left analog stick. Things get weirder when you realize that the Start button is supposed to be Jigglypuff’s mouth.
I am all for custom controllers. I support modders. This is just wrong though. It looks like Picasso drew Jigglypuff and then Dr. Frankenstein decided to make it a monster. For all you meme lovers, here’s a great one from Smashproof:
