Top-Down Action Game Meets Pinball Wizard In CREATURE IN THE WELL!
Indie developer Flight School Studio is shaking up the top-down action game style with Creature in the Well, a hack-and-slash inspired by the mechanics of pinball. Yep, you read that right. It's a little hard to visualize at first, but check out the trailer below and you'll see what we're talking about.
Creative Director Adam Volker talks about the style of the game, and the world comes to life as you explore the dungeons in Mirage. The protagonist is a lonely robot in a bleak world (though this one seems much more capable than WALL-E) and your mission is to reactivate a weather station. There are eight dungeons, and your progress through them is determined by the skill with which you command the energy balls.
And we can thank Creature in the Well for introducing the word "pinbrawler" to the world. The game releases on September 6th, and it's available for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
