Trailer Debut For RESIDENT EVIL VILLAGE GOLD EDITION Stirs Newfound Excitement
As Capcom looks to expand the playability of the latest entry in their Resident Evil series, they have also decided to release a new edition of the game. So, they have announced the Resident Evil Village Gold Edition which will release on October 28th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Player’s who get the Gold Edition will get a bundle of the well-reviewed base game with a code for the upcoming Winters’ Expansion DLC, along with the “Trauma Pack” digital add-on content.
The Winters’ Expansion DLC is also set to release on October 28th for all available platforms and will be available as a separate purchase for those who already own the base game. This expansion brings a Third Person Mode to the main game, “The Mercenaries Additional Orders,” and “Shadows of Rose.”
Shadows of Rose is a new narrative DLC following the story of Ethan’s daughter Rosemary set 16 years after the main campaign. The Mercenaries Additional Orders enables players to step into the sizable shoes of Alcina Dimitrescu, charge into battle wielding the magnetic powers of Karl Heisenberg, and unleash Chris Redfield’s arsenal of weaponry.
Both Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and Winters’ Expansion DLC are available for pre-order.
