Turn Based Tactic Title USC: COUNTERFORCE Releases Early Access Soon

USC: Counterforce is a new upcoming indie strategy title from developer Angry Cat Studios and publisher Firesquid that will be launching onto early access on Steam today. In USC: Counterforce, players step into the shoes of skilled commandos, equipped to investigate and confront the menacing alien menace head-on. The game features an advanced squad management interface with a class-free skill system, allowing players to customize their forces and utilize passive abilities to master combat and thwart the extraterrestrial invasion.

The upcoming Early Access offers an exciting array of content for players to immerse themselves in, with four special operations and an endless list of procedurally generated missions available in Single Mission mode. The diverse mission options promise immense replayability, ensuring no two gameplay experiences are alike.

Throughout Early Access, Angry Cat Studios and Firesquid will eagerly welcome community feedback, utilizing it to fine-tune and enhance the USC: Counterforce experience. The developers have a comprehensive plan in place, dedicated to updating the game until its final version, which will boast a full, open-ended campaign mode with a non-linear storyline, providing even more thrilling tactical gameplay.

One of the upcoming updates in USC: Counterforce is the "Defend the Base" mode, merging base management with a turn-based tactical defense. Players will have the responsibility of maintaining and defending a functional outpost, adding a new layer of strategic depth to the gameplay.

The game's features are designed to offer players a comprehensive tactical experience, providing the tools and freedom to tailor their squad to their liking. Assemble the ultimate squad, selecting from a wide array of customizable options, and arm them with varied weapons and tools to tackle enemies effectively.

The game also boasts fully interactive environments, with destructible elements that allow players to rearrange the battlefield, build barricades, lay traps, and exploit environmental hazards strategically.

USC: Counterforce doesn't limit itself to solo play; it encourages cooperative multiplayer modes, offering classic hot seat options or utilizing Steam's "Remote Play Together" feature to team up with fellow soldiers online.

USC: Counterforce is available now in Early Access on PC via Steam.
