VR Quick Reviews: Two Absolute Bangers With BATMAN: ARKHAM SHADOW And MAESTRO
BATMAN: ARKHAM SHADOW
Available Now
When I first saw trailers around Arkham Shadow, I was really hesitant. With the latest Suicide Squad fiasco, it’s a left a bit of sour taste in my mouth. Luckily, with Shadow, this is the Batman you’ve always wanted even if you don’t own a VR headset, it’s worth getting it for this alone. My Quest 3 has been my most played VR set and this will only further that record.
It’s beautiful, it’s fun to play, the story and setting is dark and fitting in just the right ways, the voice acting, sound effects and music are all top notch. Get it.
MAESTRO
Available Now
Any killer VR app is welcome these days as there are so many glorified tech demos or absolute duds but Maestro is neither. It’s the perfect example of what VR is capable of when gameplay, sound, and visuals all come together to create a unique experience where you truly feel like you are conducting orchestras both intimately small and incredibly huge and bombastic.
Check out the trailer then go get the game. You’re welcome!
