Witness CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE REMASTERED'S Massive Face Lift
Yesterday, I was not quiet in expressing my lack of enthusiasm at the "enhanced" graphics of the Bioshock remaster. Essentially, the "new" version looked like the original with a few more tattered banners. Today, Candyland has me dropping my jaw as it shows me what 9 years of technology can do to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. THIS is a remaster!
The objects look more life like than set pieces, the humans don't look like walking corpses, and the rain doesn't look like you're getting pelted with a lot of tiny silver sticks...
Presently, the game is only available if you pre-order Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. I have to wonder if Activision is really going to twist our arm and force us to get Infinite Warfare to play this game? Surely they are going to release a $30 digital version you can buy right? It just seems stupid to throw away a chance at money now that Battlefield 1 is a clear winner in the public eye of the two games. At least with a separate option to purchase MW remastered you could still get some money off the older gamers who want to relive the nostalgia.
