WOW: BURNING CRUSADE CLASSIC Sizzles With Nostalgia

Sizzling Quality

Love it or hate it, with more than 15 years on the market, World of Warcraft continues to be a force if not thee strongest force still in the MMORPG arena. We live in strange but glorious times where the current/retail version of WoW continues to be updated quite regularly and we are now in the Classic Era of The Burning Crusade (the second expansion) that was originally launched clear back in early 2007. Options are good and Blizzard had realized there is a strong demand for not only the nostalgic days of the original WoW series but also with the old school gameplay that has changed so drastically in the current retail version.

Back to where it all began….

To be honest, I had forgotten how truly fantastic The Burning Crusade era was, especially considering other games on the market at the time. The classes are drastically better than vanilla, the balance is more fine-tuned, and best of all, the world, lore, and dungeons are probably some of the best of the entire series. Truly, what WoW team created so many years ago is even lightyears beyond some of the current MMOs on the market. The amount of things to do between PVP, quests, exploration, raids, and dungeon running, is absolutely staggering. While many fans have played this games before, there is plenty to replay and newcomers should relish in some of the best game design in history.

Plenty o’ baddies to bring down with more to come with future phases of additional content.

In the end, whether you are a grizzled old WoW veteran or a bright-eyed newcomer, there is something for everyone in TBC Classic. The best part is, even if you missed out on WoW Classic, you can catch up with the Deluxe Version of the game that includes a boost to catch up to friends or guildies. While some view this as a negative, if it’s used for what it’s designed for, I only see the positive in this. The Deluxe Version of the game also comes with plenty of other goodies such as Classic and Retail exclusive mounts, 30 days of game time, and some sweet in-game cosmetic items.

Finally, TBC Classic is made even better with social interaction and so far, most people I have run into have been extremely friendly. So, if you don’t have friends playing, join a guild, ask around, be brave and party with those strangers, and be prepared for some quality gaming memories.
