WWE 2K16 Unleashes Its Season Pass
WWE 2K16 is bringing a huge roster of superstars and divas to choose from, so I figured there wouldn't be many additional wrestlers included in the season pass. The team also said that The Four Horsewomen (Baley, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks) would not be included. Before we address anything else, here is what is included.

New Moves Pack
More than 30 new moves, including the Corner Enzuigiri (made popular by WWE Diva Nikki Bella), Avalanche Ram (made popular by WWE Diva Paige), Sidewinder Suplex (made popular by WWE and NXT Superstar Kevin Owens), Standing Crossface Chickenwing (made popular by WWE Superstar Stardust) and Dragon Sleeper (made popular by NXT Superstar Finn Bálor);
Future Stars Pack
Playable NXT Superstars: Samoa Joe, Diego, Fernando, Blake and Murphy;.
The first two I could really care less about. I never use them, but they have become a staple so that is that. The Legends pack actually contains some interesting wrestlers, including Lita, Dusty Rhodes, Piper, and Trish Stratus. The biggest chunk of the pass contains several memorable or classic matches in what they are calling the Hall of Fame Showcase. I love the idea of representing these (and hopefully more in the future) classic matches, as the history of WWE has so much to choose from. I was actually surprised that they included an NXT match, and glad to see they are so heavily incorporating it into this year's product.
The new moves pack is also a nice touch, and makes sense since some stars implement new moves into their arsenal throughout the year. Here is what got me, though. The Future Stars Pack includes Samoa Joe, Diego, Fernando, and Blake and Murphy.
Da what?
How in the world did it become a priority to get Samoa Joe into the game, who didn't even start in WWE until earlier this year, over any of the 4 divas mentioned above? Seriously, I would really like to know. I get schedules, and I get things happen, but what it boils down to is it either was not a priority by WWE to have them in there, or 2K didn't realize their importance. That is how it appears at least, but without getting a clearer explanation from 2K than their previous rather vague statement, I guess there isn't a way to know what happened for sure. Either way, there is a lot to like here, but of course it has its caveats.
Let us know what you think of the season pass in the comments, if you are going to get it, and what you would have liked to have seen instead?
