Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Now Lets You Play Select Games You Own Via Cloud Streaming
Yeterday the PlayStation Portal announced an ability to play PlayStation Premium games without needing the PS5, and today Microsoft has just announced a new feature for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play their owned games via Cloud Streaming.
In their blog post they have also shared 50 games that are currently supported, and they are looking to grow the list with the passage of time.
One advantage of Microsoft’s approach is the ability to play games on your phone, TV, and other devices, with the only hard requirement being a controller which is substantially cheaper than a PlayStation Portal.
Both companies have now become competitors in the cloud space, and this looks like an interesting bit of news to follow for the future.
