If you’re like me, then one of your highlights from the Xbox + Bethesda Game Showcase was the reveal of Microsoft Flight Simulator coming to the Xbox Series X|S. Another important part of that news is that it will be available through Game Pass on Day 1. I’ve really admired this title from afar since its PC launch last year, so I’m head-over-heels to see it coming to console. I can’t wait to check and see if my favorite places made it into the game.
On top of that news, it was also announced that a new expansion based on the Top Gun films would also be added to the game! It’s a free expansion that’ll come to players sometime this Fall which should coincide with the release of Top Gun: Maverick (film). The big takeaway from this expansion is the fact that you’ll be able to fly around in Maverick’s jet-fighter from the films!
Microsoft Flight Simulator arrives on Xbox Series X|S on July 27th and will be available to players through Game Pass as well.
