BACK 4 BLOOD Announces Expansion 3 And New Free Mode For All Players

Turtle Rock has just announced the next expansion for their co-op zombie frenzy, Back 4 Blood. Following their recent release of Children of the Worm, the latest expansion titled River of Blood will be launching early next month. This expansion is also being complemented with a new free mode that will be available for everyone regardless if they are season pass holders or not.

River of Blood will add a new campaign across 5 new maps. Players will be traveling upriver, stopping at different points along the way to collect supplies and take on new enemy threats. The newest cleaner, Tala, will be joined by a Ridden ally named Jeff. Jeff is a friendly tallboy that can be summoned to assist the team. This is going to be an interesting mechanic to witness how it is implemented into the game. Of course, the latest expansion will also include eight new character skins, 12 exclusive weapon skins, as well as new weapons and more.

Along with the new campaign, Back 4 Blood will be receiving a brand new PVE mode titled Trial of the Worm. This mode allows players to determine their path down a four-map chain while earning supply points along the way. Corruption modifiers can be selected to increase difficulty and reward for players as they work together to finish the trials.

It is also important to note that the game will be receiving a Holiday Event once again that brings along festive decor, holiday-themed skins, emblems, weapon skins, and sprays.

Back 4 Blood: River of Blood Expansion 3 will be released on December 6th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
