Aiming to shake the foundations of the genre, Hex Entertainment and Brilliant Games have announced their groundbreaking strategy card game, Red and Blue. Although the core gameplay of Red and Blue will look familiar to those that have experience in the TCG realm, the game adds new depth, by introducing its area-based gameplay.

The game divides each player’s board into three areas, where they can place troops separately. In order to reach the opposing hero, players will have to defeat their opponent’s defenses in the same area. Areas can be upgraded, allowing them to sustain more troops, as well as be lined with traps, and empowered with special artifacts.
Red and Blue will offer deep deck building with more than 750 cards included in the initial release. 12 races of creatures, as well as tons of traps, artifacts and spells, allows players to create all types of decks in order to match their playstyle. Red and Blue will also include several game modes, with plans to add more following the initial release.
