It wasn’t too long ago that I got the chance to participate in the final closed beta for Virtual Basement and Blue Isle Publishing’s upcoming competitive game Broomstick League. After getting my first experience with the game, I thought it was a lot of fun but needed some work to be more balanced overall. The team got feedback from a multitude of players, including myself, that helped them update the game more to go public.
After announcing that they are releasing the game on Steam’s Early Access on March 5th, they now have a surprise for everyone who is interested in the game themselves: A free weekend! Starting today, February 21st, at 10am PST and lasting until February 24th, players can log on and play the Rocket League x Quidditch style game.
In anticipation of this weekend, the developers have put together a streamer highlight real to show off gameplay and announce the free weekend. Check it out and I’ll see you in the arena this weekend:
